Tranquille faune

Driving through the country, we see sheep everywhere, small groups or large herds, eating in the meadows or running on the road. Lambs, goats, horses, cows also, watching the travelling visitor.

There are so many animals in the meadows that after a while, we stop and watch them, even when they are species we are used to seeing. And it is even with more admiration that we observe some rare animals, alpacas, stags and other bambis… And then next to the ocean we discover some seals, penguins and all sorts of wild birds!

Last but not least, we are very happy to watch two kiwis, in a preserved environment. A strange bird specific to the country and which became its symbol, we could watch it for hours digging into the soil with its long beak and cleaning its nostrils...

Vineyards and wines

Imagine an island surrounded by turquoise waters, dolphins, sailing ships, a small fishing port. We can see houses too, large estates and splendid old mansions or new residences with a modern architecture. What is the most striking here on the island is to discover rows of vines everywhere, a green carpet leading to the ocean.

Imagine wineries with a restaurant overlooking the seas, curving roads, vines and fields, meadows and beaches...
