Hakuna Matata!

Three weeks in South Africa, and here is the program : sightseeing in the lovely Cape Town, visiting the "most beautiful vineyards in the world", wandering in the dazzling Karoo desert, riding to the legendary Cape of Good Hope, watching surfers on the lively coast, discovering an ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn, learning a lot in Soweto, experiencing unforgettable animal games in the Kruger Park… So many symbols of a vivid country with multiple facets, which we would like to share with you…

Cape Town : surprising and captivating

Needless to say, Cape Town is a beautiful city. As soon as you get into it, the contrast strikes you. Surrounded by mountains, vineyards and beaches, the town offers a vibrant atmosphere and spectacular colorful land views. Despite a balanced opinion at first sight and shocking security warnings, we do like Cape Town. It is really worth staying here a few days.

We spend pleasant time wandering in the city, walking down the streets and markets, discovering the brilliant Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, having diner at the Waterfront or in fancy restaurants in the Orange District, where we are staying. We are lucky enough to admire our first southern sunset from the top of Table Mountain.

Incidentally, we do realize we are on another continent, even if Cape Town has its own personality, not fully African nor really European.
