From
Lhasa to Kathmandu, the road leads to places almost cut off the world,
high plateau with herbs, rocks and rubbles, where rivers run everywhere
but in a bed.
Huge
spaces of rocky grounds, sometimes a hamlet and coming from nowhere,
a farmer walking, an isolated herd, and far away, snow-covered mountains.
A
ten days journey bringing us to marvellous landscapes, dusty villages,
we sleep into old monasteries, eat fried noodles and rice and drink
sweet milk tea.
Emotion
can be felt everywhere around us, and we appreciate it, even on a bumping
chaotic road.
Thanks
also to Martin and Usa, a scottish-thai couple we met in Lhasa, and
to Nema, our Tibetan driver, our journey is a real success.
