From
cities to towns
Sydney
is an incredible city: beautiful, with lots of opportunities for culture
and relaxation. A wonderful bay, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge,
beautiful houses, parks and beaches… we could spend hours on the seaside,
just watching this city living in such a natural environment… We felt
very good in Sydney...
Melbourne
is almost surrounded by vineyards, with many occasions to wine and dine
all year-round. People here do like culture as they love to practise
sports or support their favourite team. A river flows through the town
and brings freshness, but the sea isn't far. We take a tram and watch
the setting sun highlighting the skyline.

Imagine a city with a large green belt, high trees, ponds, space, a
place which seems to breathe between old buildings and modern architecture.
In Adelaide, vines are always close, and so is the ocean; another
occasion to watch the setting sun after a busy day spent in the wineries…
What more could you ask for?
In
order to see Perth, the best is to climb up one of its surrounding
hills. Imagine: a city next to the ocean, with a river flowing through,
where life seems to be quiet and relaxed and busy at the same time.
Once on the hill, we look at the city and at the Indian Ocean, a nice
contrast between a busy place and the calm and blue waters...

Imagine a city in the middle of nowhere, almost deserted because of
the heat. The sun burns and there are flies everywhere. People walk
in the hot streets but look for some shade. In Alice Springs
everything and everyone seems to be living slowly. Stay there a few
more days and you will discover some of the city's secrets.
Imagine
a city at the northernmost tip of the country, almost under the tropics,
a place in Australia which is nearer to Jakarta than from Canberra…
Darwin is a surprising city, we stayed there a few days before
going to the national parks, and we discovered a curious mix, lots of
people for an isolated town, contrasted colours and fragments of history,
and once again, beautiful and glorious sunsets.
