Cape of Good Hope : our first real emotion Imagine you are on a tiny piece of land, at the end of a continent, 9294 km far away from Paris… On the road bringing us to this spectacular peninsula, we meet surprising inhabitants : a penguin colony on the beach, seals resting on a small island… Arriving to Cape Point brings us new sensations, realizing that we are almost touching a little part of the country gateway to the continent… We admire a wild but beautiful landscape from the lighthouse, a skyline promising wonderful discoveries…

We can imagine these ships caught in the middle of storms, fighting against the elements, contributing to the history and legends of this mythical place… We ride from Cape Point to Cape of Good Hope, a magical route in the middle of the Nature Reserve, meeting some baboons and ostriches on our way. At the very end of this piece of land, some rocks, a small beach, the ocean, and we leave this unique scenery, where Indian and Atlantic Oceans do merge, our mind full of new images and dreams. |

Wine lands : spectacular and peaceful Constantia, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl… city names that are well-known by all South-African wines connoisseurs. We leave Cape Town and discover a peaceful and quite wine region. What a spectacular landscape, where the vineyards seems to be kept and protected by huge mountains, where the historical Cape Dutch architecture makes the gracious and elegant villages look friendly and relax. We take a few days to discover the region, visit some wineries, taste the wines. |
